Airwell has integrated the latest filtration technology to promote clean air both within and outside the air conditioning system.
Ioniser technology
Ions are electrically charged particles present in the air we breathe. A build up of positive ions have a negative effect on our wellbeing and mood, whereas negative ions have a positive impact and can assist in the recovery of illnesses.
Airwell has developed and patented an innovative ioniser that fits inside every Premium Hi-Wall Split System. The unit generates a balancing stream of negative ions that in turn collect dust particles, thereby refreshing the air to provide a healthier, ‘out-of-doors’ feeling. In homes and offices negative ions are 1000 times less than around a waterfall (average waterfall = 50,000 negative ions per cm3). The Airwell ioniser generates 30,000 - 50,000 negative ionsper cm3.

Triple filtration
Working in conjunction with Airwell’s Patented Ioniser Technology are the triple filters in every Premium Airwell Hi-wall Split System. Firstly the Airwell ‘pre-filter’ removes particles above 20 microns in size. The unique Active Electrostatic Filtration system, found in every Airwell Premium Hi-Wall Split System, eliminates those very fine dust and pollen particles, down to 0.01 microns. Finally the ‘Carbon Activated Filter’ neutralises unpleasant odours such as cigarette smoke. The combination of these filters provide a cleaner, healthier environment for your family.
